Since the founding of ATE Trading GmbH in 1996 the main occupation has been the trade to and from West Africa. Its company logo is very well known and accepted in the markets, standing for superior quality of European production.

The philosophy has always been to steadily offer first-class goods at competitive prices to support the social development of Africa.

Above all there is the customer. The organization must be adjusted to the working courses. Our goal is to react flexibly and as quick as possible to our customers' demands every single day and to render best possible service. To fulfill this goal there are, beside the managing directors Mrs. Ulla Engel and Mr. Hans-Otto Engel, five high-qualified fellow-workers doing their utmost to the satisfaction of the customers.

Further to the outlined knowledge of the markets, ATE Trading GmbH does - also on the supplier side - possess of good connections and possibilities being more than average.

We are purchasing all over Europe and even in East Europe and former Soviet countries we do have all possibilities. Consequently the company maintains a wide-ranged sales program and diverse exclusivity arrangements with many suppliers.

Besides those trade activities ATE Trading GmbH also acquired valuable experiences as for project-work. In the 70's already, the first fiscal projects had been made with the mother company G. Seippel & Co.. Among others, the complete lighting for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs buildings in Liberia were delivered. Orders by the Ghana and Nigeria Government had been and still are practiced for many years, as well as business with half-fiscal companies.
